March, April, May - West Scotland - Skye, Mull, Applecross, Torridon, Isle of Seil / Oban.
Day / Weekend / Multi day - Tailor made trips to meet your needs and the make best of the weather.
May - Lofoten Expedition. We are returning to Lofoten - an amazing kayaking venue.
June - Shetland. Two x base camping expeditions in Shetland - this is the prime time to go for wildlife and the "Simmer Dim" when its daylight 24/7.
July, August, early September - East Greenland Expeditions. This will be my 21st season guiding expeditions in Greenland. The best place I have ever paddled and a truly world class venue.
October - Canada / Ontario - Wilderness Canoe Adventure / "Fall colours" as the Northern Woods prepare for winter. Experience a different way to connect with mother nature and experience the history and wilderness of Algonquin - full training given.

West Coast of Scotland - a paddlers paradise!
During March, April, May and September - October I offer expedition training and skills courses, these are tailored to your personal requirements and are ideal for the individual or small team looking to develop their paddling and expedition work.

Shetland - June.
When not in Greenland, Shetland is probably the second best place I have ever paddled - I lived there for 20 years so do know the area, and where the best options are if the weather is iffy.
Trips are in June for the wildlife and "Simmer Dim". You will only need a head torch for exploring the caves.

East Greenland - July and August.
In the summer months I specialise in guided kayak trips based out of Tasiilaq on Angmmassalik Island. 2025 will be my 21st season, which amounts to well over 70 expeditions in this area - I am beginning to know it quite well.

October - Canoe trip in Ontario - Canada. This is another area I know well, having worked as a canoe. sea kayak and wilderness guide for a number of years in this area of Ontario. We will arrive after the first frosts - so should experience the start of the"Fall " and the changing coloures in the Northern Woods.
Camping experience and fitness - ongoing training will be giving during the trip.
